This mini site includes an assortment of different websites I have created which are live on the internet and available for viewing. The quality of this portfolio is unfortunately not an accurate reflection of my current skills, knowledge and digital interests.
There are certain professions where it is essential to have a impressive portfolio featuring lots of interesting and current work, unfortunately despite this knowledge I’ve let mine slip, so whilst I’m embarrassed to share it with the world, here is a catalogue of my live work as it stands this afternoon. I have included a description of each site and some background into the choices made by way of explanation.
I’m currently self employed and building websites for small businesses so many of these sites were built for those with a limited budget and reflects commercial reality. There are other sites which were built when I first left university and reflect my level of skill at the time I created them.
My change in career direction over the last 12 months and the logistics of studying a Masters whilst running a small business mean that I simply haven’t made the time to create interesting front end design work.
The good news is that I am working on a number of projects which will improve the quality of my current portfolio and will hopefully reflect my current level of skill and interest in user experience. The intention is that this site will become a living document and that eventually the existing content will be overshadowed by my more recent work that I’ll be less embarrassed to share with the world.
